The bowl with deep, slightly flared sides is decorated in the center of the interior with a lotus scroll. Right below the lotus scroll are the characters 'shu' and 'fu' in the well. The bowl is covered overall with a pale blue-white glaze.
 
The bowl is molded to the cavetto with ‘Shu' and 'Fu’ characters separated by a lotus scroll.
